Abstract
O presente artigo analisa a escolha de Murilo Rubião pelo conto como forma exclusiva em sua produção literária. Tal reflexão é estabelecida a partir de anotações pessoais do autor consultadas no Acervo dos Escritores Mineiros, da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), da análise do conto “Marina, a Intangível” e da aproximação do escritor com autores como Edgar Allan Poe, Julio Cortázar e Horacio Quiroga.
