Abstract

In this paper, we propose a new low sensitivity control system design method for the system with uncertainty using special feature that robust stability condition does not depend on the number of poles of the plant and that of the nominal plant. This method is built based on the idea of simultaneous design of the controller and the nominal plant parameter from frequency response data. This procedure is constructed by set membership identification method and nonlinear optimization problem. Since it is not necessary to equalize the number of unstable poles of nominal plant to that of the plant, to design robustly stable systems, it is sufficient only to check norm condition to depend on sensitivity function to hold robust stability condition. Therefore in this framework, we can construct the control system with low sensitivity characteristics and robust stability.
