Abstract
ABSTRACT Pakistan has been grappling with significant internal security challenges for many years. These challenges stem from various factors, including regional geopolitics, fragile internal security situation, and historical tensions with neighbouring countries. The internal security framework in Pakistan involves multiple actors and policies to address these challenges. Despite numerous policies over the years, several key challenges persist within Pakistan's internal security framework. This paper offers an assessment of Pakistan's internal security policy framework. In doing so, the paper highlights the actors involved in policy-making.
