Abstract
Several expressions for the wind profile in diabatic flow were compared with each other. Although the forms compared appear quite different, it was found that a great deal of similarity existed among them. It was concluded that accuracy of wind observations will have to be improved before it can be stated conclusively that one expression best describes the observed profiles.
