Abstract

Abstract Eighteen cultures of six Pseudomonas species which produced similar symptoms in artificially inoculated sorghum plants were differentiated on morphological, cultural, and biochemical characters. Two cultures received as Ps. andropogonis and Ps. alboprecipitans were identified as Ps. rubrisubalbicans and Ps. rubrilineans respectively. Two cultures isolated from maize in India were identified as Ps. rubrilineans.
