Abstract

ABSTRACT A simultaneous immunoassay of serum human growth hormone and insulin by the double-antibody technique is described. The assay can detect 5 μU/ml of insulin and 0.06 ng/ml of human growth hormone in serum samples. Using Rodbard's statistical quality control procedure, the assay performance followed through a period of 6 months indicated a precision and reproducibility comparable to that obtainable by separate double-antibody immunoassay systems.
