Abstract

The decay of 102Rh has been investigated with Ge(Li) and NaI(T1) spectrometers used in a coincidence arrangement. Beta-gamma coincidence measurements have been made using a plastic scintillator. Direct evidence for the β − branching to the first excited state at 556.7 keV in 102Pd has been observed. In addition to confirming most of the features of the decay scheme, the measurements have revealed a new 217 keV gamma transition and a new level at 2044 keV in 102Ru. Coincidence measurements with annihilation radiation show negligible β + branching to the 944 and 1103 keV levels of 102Ru.
