Abstract
This paper presents a co-design of the quai-Yagi antenna and a coupled-line band pass filter. A quai-Yagi antenna with microstrip-to-CPS balun operating at S band is integrated with a coupled-line bandpass filter. This integration uses co-design method, and enables the filter-antenna to achieve high selectivity. The designed antenna exhibits a 10-dB return loss bandwidth of 2.4–2.5 GHz. The proposed structure provides good filter selectivity and smaller size.
