Abstract
A case of aripiprazole-related acute dystonia in an adolescent patient Acute dystonic reaction (ADR) is an extrapyramidal side effect, which is more commonly seen with the use of typical antipsychotics and more rarely seen with the use of atypical antipsychotics. This reaction is a movement disorder characterized by involuntary, sustained, twisting and rotating muscle contractions, which leads to temporary postural abnormalities.
