Abstract

Macroscopic quantum interference phenomena have been observed in a new kind of superconducting device, a 4-terminal superconducting aluminium nanocross of which two terminals are short-circuited by a superconducting ring and the other two are used for a transport current. The dimensions of the nanocross are smaller than the coherence length close to the critical temperature. Interference phenomena are observed when a magnetic flux is applied to the ring.
