Abstract

Objective: To demonstrate use of intraoperative ultrasound to determine whether vaginal hysterectomy can be done in women with multiple prior c-sections or whether laparoscopic assistance will be needed. As more women are delivered by c-section in our country, we can expect more patients needing hysterectomy to have had c-sections. Our goal is to optimize their chances for minimally invasive hysterectomy.
