Abstract

Ultrasonography is a vital part of practicing modern emergency medicine (EM). To date, there are 167 EM residencies with variation in ultrasound (US) training. A Level 3 skill set requires residents to correctly acquire and interpret images. The method by which residency programs can achieve this has not been defined.
