Abstract

In October 2016, the Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies at Boston College awarded John W. Padberg, S.J., the George E. Ganss, S.J., Award, which recognizes a person’s significant scholarly contributions to the field of Jesuit Studies. At the occasion, Robert A. Maryks, the associate director of iajs and the successor of Padberg as the editor of the Institute of Jesuit Sources interviewed John about his scholarly career as a prominent Jesuit historian and editor. This is the first of a series of 60-Minute Conversations with Jesuit History.
