Abstract
Catatonia in children and adolescents is characterized by a high frequency of organic conditions (Consoli et al. 2012). Auto-immune conditions represent a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge because immune-suppressive treatments can be efficient on catatonia and other psychiatric symptoms. However, causal antibodies can be missed despite systematic and repetitive search.
