Abstract

Thyroid carcinoma (TC) in children account about 1% of all thyroid cancers. In childhood thyroid tumors are more often malignant than benign, the most frequent is papillary cancer. Papillary cancer in this age is associated with high frequency of lymph node metastases and pulmonary metastases. These tumors should be treated as the same tumors in adults.
