Abstract
This chapter provides an overview of “Part 2: Resolved Eulerian-Lagrangian: Large (Non-) Spherical Particle Modelling in the Context of Fluid Filtration Applications” as well as an introduction to application aspects of the newly developed simulation software. Thereby, automotive oil-filter applications are particularly highlighted and the solver’s property as a tool to increase the understanding of filtration effects and dynamic parameter dependencies by means of computational engineering is pointed out.
