Abstract

This section focuses on the utilization of environmentally friendly vehicles in urban logistics. The use of these vehicles has become increasingly important in recent years due to the negative impact of traditional vehicles on the quality of life and the environment of urban areas. It introduces the environmentally friendly concept, with examples such as bikes, e-bikes, electric vehicles, and hydrogen-powered vehicles. Follows a discussion on the technological limitations and opportunities associated with using environmentally friendly vehicles, including road vehicles, rail vehicles, and inland waterway transport. The feasibility of using these vehicles is also explored, taking into consideration factors such as infrastructure requirements and operational costs. Finally, the section presents some examples and use cases of environmentally friendly vehicles. Through these examples, it becomes clear that the introduction of environmentally friendly vehicles has the potential to not only reduce the negative impact of logistics on the environment but also to increase the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of logistic operations.
