Abstract
AbstractWe describe a new alignment material for BiNem® displays with improved azimuthal / zenithal anchoring energies that show no after‐image effects and can withstand low and high temperature storage tests. We also describe a partial image refreshing driving mode to improve the response time of BiNem displays. We introduce display modules designed for electronic shelf label and e‐dictionary applications.
