Abstract

Abstract In this paper I propose the concept of the Power Preservation Principle as an outgrowth of Derrick Bell’s well-known “interest convergence” dilemma. I posit that the Power Preservation Principle helps us begin to explain and understand the rapid deterioration and retrenchment of inclusive social justice policies over the last few decades.
