Abstract
Lithiation of N6-(α-haloacyl)-3-isopropylsydnone imines at 4-position followed by treatment with sulfur affords the 4-lithiosulfanyl derivatives whose intramolecular cyclization leads to [4,5]-bicyclic sydnone imines.
