Abstract
This paper presents a master-slave frame synchronization scheme for networked high-speed vision systems. In the system, multiple 1,000-frames-per-second (fps) cameras are connected via Ethernet. By referring to precise shutter timestamps at the maser camera, slave cameras can synchronize the shutter to the master with errors significantly smaller than the network delay.
