Abstract
On the basis of analyzing present 3D GIS modeling methods, a new 3D modeling method is put forward in corresponding to features of 3D data in geology, mine and so on. On basis of initial data, Lagrange interpolation algorithm is adopted to increase control points and generate the initial layered data. With the dynamic discrete network model, a layered index mechanism for 3D model data structure is established to establish topological relations for control points automatically. By filling the wire frame model and loading the inner attribute data, the 3D solid model can be established. Finally, a model interactive sectioning algorithm is designed to analyze 3D model inner information, with which engineering designer can section 3D solid model from any direction and depth. Compared with other algorithms, the method takes up less computer resource and can construct some complex 3D solid model with higher accuracy and better time performance.
