Abstract
Rock bolts, dowels, and cable bolts are used to secure foundations and retaining walls. This chapter discusses different types of rock bolts. The installation of rock bolts and dowels are also discussed in this chapter. This chapter also analyses how these tension elements can be utilized for foundations and retaining walls.
