Abstract
Introduction: Placenta percreta (PLP) is the most severe form of abnormally invasive placenta (AIP) and is associated with maternal morbidity and mortality. Thus, if prenatal ultrasound (US) imaging might detect AIP the delivery as well as the mode of intervention should be planned properly. Methods: An asymptomatic 40-year-old G3P2 was assigned at our center in the 30th week of gestation, due to abnormal US findings of the placenta, with no other comorbidities. Obstetric history included two caesarean deliveries without any complications.
