Abstract
An analytical model is proposed for analyzing the vibration characteristics of doubly walled pipes, and three different shell theories of Flugge, Love and Donnell are used to compare the applicability. The model is assumed to have filling material between two walls, and the mass and elastic springs are included in the sets of equations to represent the material property. Based on the comparison, some conclusions will be drawn on the issue.
