Differences in the changes from baseline to endpoint between the SP and CP group were significant in the PANSS total score, negative, cognition and agitation subscores in favor of the SP group. Conclusions: Physical exercise in patients with schizophrenia was found to increase the hippocampus volume and to improve psychopathology.
