Abstract

Using flight simulator the controllable roll rate limit of the human piloting aircraft is considered. When a pilot tries to change the attitude of the aircraft, the applied control input and the aircraft's roll rate seems to have certain limits. Using 1 degree of freedom approximation aircraft model, we investigated how the degree of control input, and how the maximum controllable roll rate of the aircraft is restricted by the change of some characteristic parameters of the aircraft including control instruments.
