Abstract

Objectives: Although GIFT lost popularity because of its requirement of a fully equipped operation theatre and improvements in in-vitro embryo culture system, it consistently reported higher pregnancy rates than IVF as reported by the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) Fertil Steril71(5):798–807;1999. The advent of ICSI added a new dimension in ART. We endeavor to show that tubal gamete transfer after ICSI is technically feasible and a successful treatment for even the most severe male factor cases.
