Abstract

In this paper, the effects of vibration suppression of a moment-type dynamic vibration absorber using a three-layered cantilever beam to a primary cantilever beam is discussed theoretically and experimentally, and compare with an ordinary-type dynamic vibration absorber which has the same mass ratio. The three-layered beam consists of two copper plates and viscoelastic material.
