Abstract
When measuring210Pb via its progenies using the extractive cocktail PolexTM, the sample must be transferred to a phosphate system. When measuring low level samples, care has to be taken in the choise of the phosphoric acid used, as it may contain rather large amounts of210Pb. Typical activity concentrations for products of different manufacturers are given.
