After an extensive voting period, we are proud to present the winner of the Buildings Young Investigator Award: Chiara Bedon (born 1983) is Assistant Professor at the University of Trieste (Italy) in the Department of Engineering and Architecture, where she has taught “Structural Analysis” since 2012. At the same University, she received her BSc (2003) and MSc (2007) degrees in Civil Engineering, a 2nd level Master course degree (2008, 400 h) on the design of earthquake-resistant buildings and her Ph.D. degree in 2012.
