Abstract

Within the frame of this article, the authors aimed to clarify the relationship between the financial reports, financing structure, and cost comparison of the candidates in Ulaanbaatar by analyzing the financial reports of the candidates for the 2020 election of the State Great Khural issued by the National Audit Office. Additionally, the study involves analyzing the reports of candidates from the Mongolian People's Party (MPP), Democratic Party (DP), and National Labor Party (NLP) currently serving in Mongolian Parliament. The comparison includes examining public and local funds, elucidating spending differences and characteristics, and clarifying the impact of changes in election laws on candidate costs.
