Abstract
The 2016 Global Conference on Polymer and Composite Materials (PCM 2016), sponsored by Wuhan Advanced Materials Society, and Ningbo Adhesives and Products Industry Association, was held from May 20 to May 23 2016 in Hangzhou, China. The technical program consisted of 8 international keynote speakers, 22 invited speakers, 57 oral presentations, and a poster session with 47 works.The present issue of IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) records the proceedings of PCM 2016 and contains 71 specially selected manuscripts submitted to the PCM2016 conference. The electronic submission and handling of manuscripts via the conference website, including the selection of reviewers and evaluation of manuscripts, were identical to the procedures applied to manuscripts submitted as regular contributions for publication.The organization of this conference and the preparation of proceedings volume would have been impossible without the tremendous efforts and dedication of many individuals, especially from Ms. Zha Yuanyuan, who oversaw the organization of the conference and the program, and a large team of reviewers with their timely submission of quality reports. We express our sincere thanks to all authors and presenters for their contributions. Macau is a special administrative region on the southern coast of China situated across the Pearl River Delta, at about 65 kilometers southeast of Hong Kong.
