Abstract

Osteoradionecrosis (ORN) is a condition that occurs secondary to radiotherapy treatment for head and neck cancer, causing a reduction in the blood supply to the jaw, resulting in devitalised necrotic bone. Management usually includes antibiotics and corticosteroids, but in some cases surgery is carried out combat symptoms.
