Abstract

The RAFT computer code for aerosol formation and transport was modified to include boron species in its chemical database. This was done in order to calculate fission product transport and deposition in Falcon test FAL-17, where boric acid was injected. The results obtained with the modified RAFT code are presented here, and they show a good agreement with experimental results for caesium deposition in the Falcon tube.
