Abstract

The main advantages of ground penetrating radar, an electromagnetic inspection method used in various fields such as glaciology and non-destructive testing, are that it is fast (hundreds of measurements per second) and that no contact with the inspected object is required. A wide range of radar equipment including software for data processing and interpretation is available on the market.
