Abstract
Ti alloys have high specific strength, high temperature resistance and corrosion-resistant properties. The most common application is in aircraft components, such as turbine fan disks. More extended applications are anticipated to structures at high temperature, ultra-low temperature, corrosive environment, strong magnetic fields and radioactive environments.
