Abstract

In this chapter, we summarize the recent progress on high-performance thermoelectric p-type and n-type oxide ceramics, covering layered cobalt oxides, bismuth oxyselenides, SrTiO3, and other oxides. The current strategies based on crystal structural modification, microstructure engineering, defects introduction, band structure design, grain boundary modulation, and composite construction are reviewed in detail in each oxide system.
