Abstract
Few studies have explored the bidirectional longitudinal associations between a repetitive thinking style called rumination and depression in adolescence. This is important to determine if rumination is a risk factor for depression. To our knowledge, this is the largest study to examine such longitudinal associations in an adolescent age group over a 4-year period.
