Abstract
The article examines the artistic world of V. P. Sysoev’s naturalistic works. The researcher reveals typological features of V. P. Sysoev’s prose, analyzes the personages system, the stories’ motive structure and specificity of artistic representation of the Far Eastern natural world. The research objective includes identifying artistic peculiarities of V. P. Sysoev’s works. Originality of the study involves the comprehensive approach to analyzing specificity of V. P. Sysoev’s naturalistic prose. The conclusion is made that artistic originality of V. P. Sysoev’s prose is due to synthesis of the classical hunting story and the naturalistic sketch and is determined by aesthetics of natural-philosophical prose of the second half of the XX century.
