Abstract
The article examines some common problems of the raw material regions of the Russian Federation, taking into account their scale, including the example of the Kemerovo region – Kuzbass in matters of interaction between public authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation with local governments on effective subsoil use. The insufficient role of municipal authorities in the management of territories in the raw material regions is assessed, attention is drawn to the need to find a comprehensive effective solution.
