Abstract
Present article reviews coordination of time delays between relay protection and automation (RPA) system existing at oil pumping station (OPS) and power supply system in order to ensure self-starting conditions safe for synchronous electric motors (SEM) of main pumping units. Coordination of RPA time delays is considered for the cases, when one of OPS power supply sources fails due to short circuit, with further SEM self-start upon elimination of short circuit.
