Abstract
The article analyzes the specific technical and economic characteristics of multifunctional shopping centers, service infrastructure as part of CDT projects, large residential areas and transport and interchange hubs. The importance of taking into account these features in urban planning and construction regulation is noted, as the development of the service economy segment is socially significant. The definitions of commercial trade and service infrastructure objects according to the current market formats are proposed.
