Abstract

The purpose of this study is as follows. This study aims to check the addictive and continuous participation of the participants in the Taekwondo movement. The method of this study is as follows. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 402 participants in the Taekwondo movement, and the survey was conducted on 360 survey participants who faithfully participated in the survey. The types of questionnaire were demographic variables, and were classified into gender, age, exercise history, exercise time, and exercise frequency. For this study, data was processed through the SPSS 25.0 program, and the average difference was verified through a one-way ANOVA, and a simple regression analysis was performed to verify the correlation between correlations by performing correlation analysis. Motivation for participation was divided into technology development, pleasure, and socializing. Exercise addiction was divided into withdrawal symptoms, exercise needs, and emotional attachment. Exploratory factor analysis was performed on all variables and verified through reliability analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, there were statistically significant differences in exercise addiction and participation intention according to demographic characteristics. Second, exercise addiction and participation intention were found to influence each other. The conclusion of this study is as follows. Emotional attachment among those who participated in Taekwondo movement was found to have an effect on their continued participation.
