ДЕЯКІ ПИТАННЯ ПІДГОТОВКИ ФАХІВЦІВ ДЛЯ СЕКТОРУ ВОЄННОЇ БЕЗПЕКИ Й ОБОРОНИ

Abstract

The article examines trends of educational modernization taking into consideration new challenges and the necessity for training and professional development of civil servants in military defense and security spheres in accordance with applicable laws. The article also considers factors of coordinated activity of the civil and military officials in the system of security and defense of Ukraine. Development of the national education should be accompanied by transition to student-centered learning with encouragement of heuristic approach. The new system of military education should be based on the strategy of modernization of educational content, methods and forms of educational process, taking into account factors such as openness, self-organization, self-development and self-management. Important is to solve the issue of military specialists training for civil authorities and military units of educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense. A positive step in this direction is creation of legal framework. Training of specialists in military institutions of higher education should be realized free of costs on the basis of agreements between ministries, military forces and other state agencies. Modern important issue is a professional development of personnel of central and local executive authorities, self-government institutions and command stuff of the Ukrainian military forces in the sphere of defense and mobilization activities. Solving of the mentioned problems in the sphere of specialists training in the system of national security and defense can be achieved on the basis of National University of Defense of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi.
