Abstract

The study was conducted on the basis of official data of the State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation for the period from 1993 to 2019. The analysis of the dynamics of the indicator of the use of fresh water for production needs is carried out, the suitability of the data for the construction of the model is veri-fied. A factor field was constructed and its quality was checked according to separate criteria. The cyclicity was checked and a spectral model of the indicator of the use of fresh water for produc-tion needs was constructed. A set of measures aimed at reducing industrial water consumption and rational use of water resources is proposed. At the legislative level, the possibility of establishing differentiated pay-ments for the consumption of water resources by industrial enterprises has been considered.
