Abstract
Purpose . To explore the features of emotional condition of the patients who suffer from skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders during their admission to the sanatorium for further treatment. Materials and methods. The following methods were used: surveys, questionnaires, qualitative analysis and quantitative results. The method of determining the level of reactive and personal anxiety was chosen based on the research purpose. Research materials are the results of a survey, completed by patients who suffer from skin diseases and were treated at the state enterprise Sanatorium Nemiroff PJSC Ukrprofozdorovnytsia in 2014–2015. Results. When comparing the level of anxiety of patients who suffer from skin diseases and are on admission to the sanatorium for further treatment there is a high prevalence of moderate personal and reactive anxiety. Significantly higher levels of reactive and personal anxiety stated in patients with disease duration of 1 year. Conclusion. During the treatment of patients who suffer from skin disorders in sanatorium conditions it is important to take the emotional disorders into account and to include a correction of psychological condition of the patient into the treatment algorithm.
