Abstract
The known designs of mixers for mixing heterogeneous plant raw materials have been analysed. It is established that such mixers do not provide homogeneous mixing of wet viscous raw materials. It is necessary to combine mixing and grinding of wet raw materials in one machine. The design scheme of the mixer-grinder providing effective simultaneous mixing and grinding of dry bulk and wet viscous plant raw materials has been proposed.
