Abstract

The article is devoted to the psychometric study of the author's questionnaire evaluation of propensity to violation of service (military) discipline. It analyzes the problems of assessing the personal characteristics of military personnel, who periodically and grossly violate the established order and rules of conduct, are characterized by professional insecurity and low performance discipline. Theoretical analysis of the problem of discipline allowed to justify the creation of innovative diagnostic techniques. Psychometric research was carried out in the form of evaluation of structural validity of the questionnaire, as well as the study of the type of distribution of the indicator "Propensity to violation of military discipline". A correlation with some indicators of other diagnostic techniques aimed at identifying constructs that are theoretically known to be associated with the tendency of military personnel to behave in violation of the established order was established. In the course of comparative research the dynamics of development of cadets of the Military University of the Ministry of defense of Russia propensity to violation of military discipline was studied. It is shown that in the process of training and professionalization of the personality of the cadets have been harmonized as the personality of the soldier (in terms of compliance with the service (military) discipline). The study material makes it possible to predict the probability of occurrence of deviations of behavior in military personnel, as well as to carry out appropriate preventive work in a timely manner.
