Abstract

In the article the authors analyzed that preparation of future teachers for the formation of students’ civic competence in the educational systems of Poland and Ukraine can be carried out only in the presence of a detailed model of this process. The process of preparing future teachers for the formation of civic competence of students should be understood as a purposeful, specially organized pedagogical process characterized by the inclusion of teachers in active civic activities, the development of their positive attitude to this activity, the presence of internal contradictions between achieved and required level. The model of scientific-methodical providing of preparation of future teachers for the formation of students’ civic competence during the professional training is examined. It is proved that due to the implementation of model of preparation of future teachers for the formation of students’ civic competence and due to the scientific-methodical system of its staged providing it is possible to increase significantly the effectiveness of training of future specialists of secondary school for the civic activity. It is proved that the method of the gradual development of civic competence of students can be effective in the condition of a positive attitude of future teachers of secondary school to civic activity, responsibility, civic values. Interiorization of civic values as a part of civic competence in the process of educational work is carried out in stages: the formation of value knowledge; comprehension and acceptance of experience in the process of reflection and interpretation; semantic comprehension of civic experience, and as a result of appropriation of civic experience as personal. The internalization of civic values of future teachers in the process of high education is determined by social, economic and cultural conditions of Ukrainian society.
